The GEL-KAYANO 33 is one of ASICS’ pinnacle running shoes for support and comfort. FLUIDSUPPORT technology adapts to your changing biomechanical needs throughout each stride, providing guidance during key phases of the gait cycle while allowing natural foot motion for smooth, efficient transitions. FF BLAST PLUS and FF BLAST MAX foams are combined in the midsole. These foams help create a blend of cloud-like softness and a responsive energy return while keeping the shoe lightweight.

Pronation: Designed For Neutral / Overpronation

Neutral: See left image.
Foot Type: Normal size arches
Push Off: There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
How your foot contacts the ground: The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Overpronation: See right image.
Foot Type: Low arches or flat feet
Push Off: Big toe and second toe do majority of the work.
How your foot contacts the ground: The foot lands on outside of heel, then rolls inward (pronates) excessively, transferring weight to inner edge instead of ball of the foot.

FF BLAST MAX cushioning: One of our most energetic midsole foams that's complemented with cloud-like softness and a responsive energy return in each step.
FF BLAST PLUS cushioning: Midsole foam that provides a blend of cloud like cushioning and a responsive ride that is lighter than FF BLAST.
OrthoLite sockliner: Premium sockliner that provides cushioning performance and moisture management for a cooler, dryer environment.
HYBRID ASICSGRIP outsole: Combines ASICSGRIP rubber and AHARPLUS materials to help provide advanced grip for various terrains and advanced durability.
