It's so comfortable that they put it to the test with runners. And it came out on top, chosen as the most comfortable running shoe during an independent test at a biomechanics lab in South Australia. The GEL-NIMBUS™ 25 running shoe includes additional technical features to support you during your runs, which you’ll find listed under ‘Features’ below.

Features

Pronation: Designed For Neutral / Underpronation

Neutral: See left image.
Foot Type: High arches
Push Off: The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
How your foot contacts the ground: The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Underpronation: See right image.
Foot Type: Low arches or flat feet
Push Off: Big toe and second toe do majority of the work.
How your foot contacts the ground: The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.
PureGEL™ technology: Improves softness and shock absorption to reduce impact.
FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO foam: Helps provide ultimate comfort.
New upper construction: Ensures ultimate comfort for easier step-in and an unrivalled fit.
Updated midsole design: Allows for more foam to ensure even more comfort.

Designed with the environment in mind: At least 75% of its primary upper consists of recycled materials. Asics also used less water and carbon emissions to produce the shoe’s sockliner. Better for you, better for the environment.
